First Blog

All day I've felt crappy with a headache and dizzy, just completely out of  it. I don't know if its because I've been eating too much sugar or what. I've go to start eating better. I mean I haven't been eating that bad today just those weight watcher toffee bar things call my name sooo much. Maybe I need a week of detoxing and just eating good food without the "ok in proportion foods" like the weight watcher snacks because I crave sugar like nuts esp during the TOM cravings.

But even though I didn't have such a great eating day I still went to Curves which is nice because everytime I go to the "real gym" like the YMCA I always kinda go and freak because everyone is soooo skinny! I don't know if anyone's noticed that but there are skinny people at the Y lol which is prob a good sign like if you go to the YMCA you'll be skinny but its sooo intimidating. I love working at the YMCA but I would much rather have it close just for me =) I'm seriously going to have to get over that!!!

I've done really great with my water and I've been thirsty all day Idk why but I've had more than my 6 and more than prob 8 so I'm hoping that helps! Ouch I'm sore from Curves. Some people don't think it's a workout but it def is just at a less intimidating environment. PLUS most of the women there are about double or triple my age so what am I supposed to be intimidated by?

So yeah I'm hoping to lose another 5 pounds by my b-day or the week of my b-day and then I'd be at my 5% which is crazy I love mini goals it makes it soo much easier! My b-days April 22 so its almost here if I lose 3 pounds this week and 2 the next I'll reach my goal! After me and my mom lose 10 pounds we're going to go get pedicures and manicures and our eyebrows done! Which I need all of those things REALLY bad so I've already lost 6 pounds so only 4 more to go! Now I just have to get my mom's butt going which Idk how to help her because she always thinks I'm critisizing her.

Oh well I'm happy I worked out today! I just would love to go to the YMCA too and get some cardio going since at Curves theres a lot of strength training (which is great since I do not do weights at the YMCA with all the muscle guys psh yea right) but unless you run between machines it isn't much cardio (and seriously if no machine is on and inspiring me to keep moving I'm not going to run in place)

  1. The way I see it about the Y is that they should respect you for being there doing something good for yourself.

And they're all probably thinking the same thing, everyone's worrying about themselves.

    Love your blog!!

  2. Wonderful blog!
I used to be SUPER intimidated by the rec (YMCA, gym, whatever you call it). Now it's my second home, as I'm there almost everyday of the week. If you keep going, I'm sure you'll learn to love it!
